Just read something sad and amazing news story. BBC has shown the frozen planet series here in the autumn. The final episode covered global warming and the fact that the frozen poles are shrinking fast, threatening rising sea levels and other calamities in the process. This final episode was not, despite all the previous episodes were, NOT shown in US television. Perhaps too strong for the American people, who I thought were made of sturdier stuff and could handle the truth? I'll let you be the judge.
